Message Regarding Coronavirus Tier 4
Following a letter from Dr Arif Rajpura, Director of Public Health for Blackpool Council
Dominic Harrison, Director of Public Health for Blackburn with Darwen Council
Dr Sakthi Karunanithi, Director of Public Health for Lancashire County Council
We have been requested to suspend Public worship. This means that St. Christopher’s is CLOSED until the lockdown restrictions are eased. No doubt there may be an announcement by the Government confirming this later this week.
Funerals can still take place with a maximum of 30 people but all Weddings and baptisms are suspended, and the Parish Office is still closed..
Services will still be offered on-line on this Facebook page at 10:30am on Wednesdays and 10:30am on Sundays until further instructions are given.
As you and I can appreciate, this is a difficult time for everyone but be assured of my prayers for you at this time.
Further details will be posted as they are known, on this site and the Parish Facebook page.
