Message Regarding Coronavirus Tier 4

Following the announcement by the Prime Minister on Monday the 22nd February, the situation has changed regarding worship , albeit only a little at the present time. Funerals continue with a maximum of 30 people until 21st June (provisionally) , but from the 8th of March, Weddings with 6 people present can take place. From April 12th the numbers increase to 15 ; from May 17th to 30 , with receptions afterwards and then , hopefully from June 21st all restrictions will be lifted.

The Church will reopen on Mothering Sunday, Sunday the 14th March. Once again the capacity remains at 30 at both the 08:30 and 10:30 services until the restrictions are finally lifted. Hand sanitisation will still be provided , and masks must still be worn until the final date for the removal of restrictions is given. We still cannot resume singing either, and I know some are eager to burst into song…but not just yet!

From the 13th April the Parish Office will re-open on Tuesday evenings, with the same logistics as previously viz:
There will be 3 time slots for booking of Baptisms: 18:30, 18:50 and 19:10. Please ring Fr. Martin to book the time slot. Please do not just turn up. The maximum number of attendees at a baptism will still be 30, as it is for a funeral.
Weddings can be arranged on an ad hoc basis with Fr. Martin directly.

Instructions could still be changed and all dates are the EARLIEST dates. The Services will continue to be live-streamed on this Facebook page until the end of June, usually at 10:30am on Wednesday and 10:30am on Sundays for those who are isolating / shielding / inquisitive about the faith, or want just to snoop to see what we get up to!
Please remain staying safe and refer to either this Website or the Facebook page for updates and changes.

With all love and blessings
Fr. Martin
